So thats it !!!! I hope it is quite clear by now as to how wonderful these card stocks are. I would call them the ultimate card stock as these have multiple qualities.

Now on to the another product that is the talk of the crafting community because of its awesome quality.

Sparkling Dust and Frosted Sugar Powder

Sparkling dust is a fine shimmery powder, almost weightless nd gives a smooth glittery look to the surface where it is applied. It sticks well with most adhesives and is bright white in colour. However this powder DOES NOT HEAT EMBOSS. So avoid using it for the same.

Frosted Sugar Powder as the name suggests is like fine sugar but a little granular and has very little shimmer or sparkle. It has a translucent frosted look and can be used for mixed media, on flowers, etc. This too cannot be used for Heat Embossing.

Here are the two flowers that I made using the Exotica and Oriental paper. After reading my blog post till now, it will become very clear to you which flower is made from which paper. Can you guess ??
Let me tell you--the flower on the top is made from Exotica paper as it is more open while the flower at the bottom is from Oriental paper as the bloom is more closed and compact.

Here are the flowers with the new powders

                                                       Oriental Bloom with Sparkling Dust

Exotica bloom with Frosted Sugar Powder

Here is the video to show you in real way how wonderful these papers are.

Decoupage with Ice Resin: Steampunk Tag

Namaste Guys

What is Decoupage?

Decoupage (or découpage) is the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it in combination with special painteffects, gold leaf and so on. Commonly an object like a small box or an item of furniture is covered by cutouts from magazines or from purpose-manufactured papers. Each layer is sealed with varnishes (often multiple coats) until the "stuck on" appearance disappears and the result looks like painting or inlay work. The traditional technique used 30 to 40 layers of varnish which were then sanded to a polished finish.

Watch the full video tutorial of the Tag in the making . The Resin was so versatile and easy to use as a decoupage medium and also as a glue!

The best part about using Ice Resin as a decoupage agent you don't need to use any glue or varnish and you get a really awesome finish.

Travel Junk Journal - What and how My style!!

    Namaste Guys

Time for festivals and holidays and everyone will be heading for vacations and I want to inspire you all with a Travel themed Junk journal. Before I show you the finished Project lets talk about what is a Junk Journal or  Junque Journal ?? A junk Junque Journal is a journal made from found items papers and scraps and pattern paper etc! It has many a functions you can use them to store your favorite poems or draw in them or add photos and write in them.
I have come up with a unique style of Junque Journal to take on my travels and the save all my travel memories and memorabilia and instead of using scraps and leftover found papers I use good pattern paper.
So, this journal  I have designed for my upcoming trip and Ii have used the Far and Away Line from Teresa Collins. This paper collection is awesome to make a travel themed journal as It has some really great patterns and also a Die-cut sheet, and some sheets of Atc's and Journalling cards. A lot of the thinking and the work has been done for you.
Without further ado here is how I design and make my Junque journals, I divide the Signatures Day wise and add tons of pages, pockets, flaps and envelopes. So in terms of texture and page sizes there is a lot of variety and scope for adding elements like brochures and also for writing. You must be wondering as the pages are black how I do my writing I use a simple white gel pen to do so.

Just look at all the pages and the real estate so many places to write and add photos and brochures! So, you can get everything about your holiday and preserve your memories for ever.

As you can see This book is huge and I have made it 12 x 6 to get two full 4x6 photos on the pages !! and there the pages gradient from large to small to create movement fro the eyes that I think is attractive and adds to the charm.
