A Book in a book, in a book!

Helllooo Rupa here,

It's Thursday and am here to share a recycled project with you and lots of goodies from Crafters Corner!

A local air trip leaves you with a lot of roasted nut tins and once you are done with eating the nuts...the tins are waiting to be transformed! hers is what happened to one of them...

The title may confuse you but not when you see that the tin is now altered to look like a book and when it opens...there is another book and another! yes...3 books in all!

Here are all the details...
The Spine ..is a piece of canvas cloth that I ran thru a damask embossing folder almost three-fourths and then colored it with shades of yellow and brown acrylics to give a vintage leather look, on the top part of the spine I heat embossed an ornate label and quote from Inkadinkado stamps which says it all.

The  mini album is made with TH Wall flower paper pack and dint even hesitate to tear a page from it to create this mini tag book. I took the ATC page and created mini from this 12X12 beauty! The paper was too good to be altered and I felt it was just screaming for a bit of yellow to be highlighted and so I went with that.

The front cover… and the back cover is made with chipboard from cereal boxes and the spine is a piece of colored burlap from my stash. I have used complimenting papers from DCWV and embossed with TH burlap stencil and sprinkled some gold embossing powder on it!

Some metal book corners and this mini album is ready.
Here are the tags inside the mini, all cut using Joy crafts die and the sentiments all from TH visual artistry. A lovely yellow ribbon keeps the book intact.

From the spine hangs a micro mini book charm along with a few tea pot metal charms.

The book charm…is an inchie to be precise and I enjoyed making this teenie weenie thing!
It actually has some pages inside and some more sentiments. The book is held tight with some twine.

So here is my BOOK in a Book in a book …
Hope you enjoyed reading all of them!!

Here are the list of products that I have used from the store...

Let me know what you recycled today!
I will see you soon after a festive break.
Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali.
Until my next creative journey,
Happy Crafting and recycling.
Cheers,
Rupa

Party favours and Invite!!!

Hi crafty people,
This is Arjita and it's my time to share an inspirational post with all of you...
This post is very special to me because I designed these party favors for my daughter's birthday.
I wanted to keep it very girly so sticked  to her favourite colour .......yes you got it right .....its a PINK.
I created the candy box with the amazing WRMK candy box punch board and trust me guys it was so easy and quick.
The uniformity and the professional finish can only be achieved by this punch board.
I made two sizes one for the candies and the other for holding few adorable stationary for the kids.

I used patterned papers by DCWV and some bakers twine to tie the box and loads of embellishments to jazz up the project. Can u see the mini Tilda and the tiny hidden butterfly ? The Tilda was coated with crackle accents to create that distressed look. ... Isn't it cute ?
A closer look for u ...

I filled in some wooden balls for photography purposes so that you can see the window I created using some thick acetate.

For this box I created a wreath around the hero arts stamped image and added a butterfly also from hero arts.

I wanted a matching invite so I decided to used this absolutely gorgeous die from joy craft to create the frame for the Tilda to fit in. The mulberry flowers, charm and pearls make everything so adorable ...

I just layered the similar pp on a black card stock and used few pop dots to create a dimension finally glued the leaves, flowers and other emblliez.

And the final pic for this post ....

The supplies I used are :
Mini Tilda stamp
Copic markers

Gosh !!!! They were quite a few tools here and I am so happy to tell you that our store is loaded with all these amazing stuff ...that's why I always say Crafterscorner is a paradise for all the people who wanna tickle their desires of crafting.

At this point I  want to remind you once again to participate in our challenge #15-
