Nov Challenge #14 : MAKE IT FESTIVE.

Hello everybody,

How is everybody doing ? You must be busy with Diwali preparations. I know I am frantically cleaning and planning gifts for my loved ones. I have to say, in spite of the crazy amount of work, I love the festive season and I am sure you do too.

That brings me to the challenge for this month. Before that though, we would like to thank you for participating in last month's challenge and celebrating our blog anniversary with us. Your support and participation means the world to us.

Okay, now without further ado, here is your challenge for the month of November. Since this and the coming months are seasons of various festivals, we decided to go for a simple yet relevant theme for the challenge.

The challenge this time is 'MAKE IT FESTIVE'. All you have to do is make anything which is appropriate for a festival. It does not necessarily have to be Diwali specific. You can choose any festival and make anything appropriate for it. It could be cards, money envelopes, candles, gifts, decorative items etc.

This month our team will be using distress paints, gorgeous flowers and absolutely brand spanking new resin pieces for our creations. You have to check out the resin pieces at our shop. They are GORGEOUS!

The prize this month is super lovely, to say the least. You get to win -

An assortment of resin pieces from our store

AND

a pack of  beautiful mulberry tulip buds

Isn't the price package fabulous! I am salivating over it and would love to win this! Wouldn't you?

Now ,that I have got you interested, let's move onto our inspiration pictures. Our DTs have some creative inspiration for you and I hope this helps you understand the challenge better.

First up is Bipasha, with her very innovative Kundan Diya platter. She has used beautiful assorted flowers from our store and kundans and stones to decorate the platter.Since you all know by now that she likes to recyle, she has also cut up a plastic glass and painted and shimmered it to hold the beautifully decorated tea-light.

Next, we have Riti with a very clever idea for gifting . She decorated a canister which can be filled with dry fruits.Do you see the base of the canister? She made a rangoli which can be detached and can be used by the recipient. Isn't that super clever? Two gifts in one.:-)

Next up is Samreen. She made a gorgeous Christmas card with lovely charms, resins and handmade flowers.I love the way she has embellished the card and love the mixture of flowers and metal.

Here's a closer look at her lovely handmade poinsettia flowers.

Our next DT inspiration is from Shalini Pahwa, who altered a candle holder with pretty flowers, resin pieces and chain. I love the holder. It's so cute!

finally, here is my project.I altered a hanging candle holder.Tons of flowers and some resin pieces. As usual, I had a hard time taking a decent picture.:-)

Here's a close-up of the resin pieces. Are they gorgeous or what!

That's all from my end. Hope you participate in our lovely new challenge. The challenge rules are given below for reference.
