Love is in the air

Hi crafty people!!!
Big hello to all of you who follow our blog and like our efforts to inspire you !
There are going to be tonns of announcements and surprises once our dear Shalini is back from CHA...I am sure you all must be equally excited as we all are at Crafters corner. I can't wait to hold the latest releases in my hand and to play with them...
It's true that we all want new things in our collection but at times we must also check and use the beauties resting in our craft boxes.
Today's post is done by using an old cute stamp by Whimsy which fits perfectly with the Valentine theme.

I love colouring my images with copics and this particular image is very interesting.

I selected a patterned paper with little Daisy's from the Rustic collection by DCWV. It has some beautiful shades of pale green and red and I used similar colours for my stamped image.
Here is a pic to explain what I mean 😉

I wanted to sew the panels and did it using a white tread. It's a nice way to add a lil something to your project.
A zoomed in pic for you ....

I edged the image with some versa mark watermark ink and poured some Frantage to jazz up the project.I also used Enamel Accents here an there on the balloon.

The floral bouquet was also done by using a red daisy and tulips to match the pp and the image.

Here is the full picture of the card... I hope u like it and give it a try.

Lots of love

Door hanger !

Hi crafty people...
I love altering MDF products not only because they are cute an adorable but also they r strong and have more life as compared to paper products..
Our store is full of such petty mdf pieces and you can give them the look you want. It can be shabby chic, vintage or whimsical....
For my project today I picked up the cute door hanger and altered it with the "love theme "😍😍😍.
It can be a perfect lil gift for someone u love and wanna make it visible day n night .
So let's begin...

I started with the plain mdf door hanger and painted the egdes with distress paint in vintage photo. Adding colour to the edges makes the project look more neat and finished.

I traced the door hanger over my pp and trimmed it carefully. Distressed it a bit and glued it on the hanger.

I adore the image of the whimsy stamp bird swing and wanted it for sure on this project. I stamped it with memento tuxedo black and coloured with prisma colours. Used a spellbinders die label 14 to cut it around. While keeping the paper in the die distressed the edges with the soft tumbled glass distress ink. This leaves a cute white border. Layered it with a kraft coloured paper.

To add the special effects I added some
Wink of Stella on the roses and glossy accents on the birds.

To embellish the project I used my favorite mulberry roses and also created two rolled roses on my own😉.

I also added the cute key charm and angel wing charm to jazz up the project.

Finally added few stamped fussy cut pieces , lace , sequence trim, pearls , pollens and cheese cloth to add some oomph !

It's a cute project and fun to make..
I am sure you all will give it a try and mark your presence in your loved one's room.
Your feedback is very precious for me and it encourages me to do better day by day.

Waiting for ur valuable comments :)

Hello everyone!
How are you all doing? Well today i am here to share a card I made!
I've fallen in loveee with stamping. I had a hard time deciding what to make since our store has such a vast variety of stamps and i picked quiet a lot of them recently :P could't resist hehe with the super awesome pricing!

Now without any further delay here's the card I've made.

I've done 3d stamping here. I so love the whimsy flower fairies stamp! Isn't it cute? I've painted it with distress inks. I've used Stampendous Shabby Embossing enamel around the image It looks so Gorgeous!

Since the product of the month is Impression Obsession stamps I decided to create the background of my card using a very cute butterfly stamp by Impression Obsession. I loved the way it turned out looks as good as a pattern paper!

Next I've made the rose using Joy Crafts Flower die. I've used the Chole stamp with my flower and some gorgeous resin embellishments our store has. I am so addicted to use these resins they add the perfect touch to the card and look pretty!

Altered Matchbox Dresser

Hello

This is Pallavi here, wishing you a happy Sunnday morning .Today I want to share something that I have been planning to make for quite some time, but never got down to do it till now. This was all the rage in the crafting world recently and every second person was making one.I am talking about an Altered Matchbox Dresser.Take a look.(Sorry for the not so good pictures!Took these at an ungodly hour)

I have followed the color inspiration and the recipe given in our Summer Sundae challenge. Here are my recipe ingredients. We are also showcasing dies this month, so the die I used in this project is

Spellbinders Floral ovals die cuts : I used these behind the chipboard frame and the sides of the dresser.
2 different pattern papers : used for the drawers and the top and sides of the dresser
Embellishment : Flowers,Chipboard frame and pearls and of course some dimensional stickers
Glitter : The diecut is cut out of glitter paper. The frame, flowers and the banner are glittered.

I hated it in the beginning but after putting on some decorations and the little itty bitty things on the dresser, I have started liking it afterall.

And those of you think that this is not a USEFUL thing to make, think again. These matchboxes can store your little brads, paperclips, pearls and other ittsy bitty things and are so pretty to boot. You can also store your small earrings in these and place it on your dressing table. If you seal the whole outside with modpodge, this will handle all the wear and tear for a considerable time.

Here are some more pics

The top of the dresser. If you are wondering what those beads are. Those are my attempt at making perfume bottles.:-).There's alittle frame and a flower vase too ,in case you are wondering what THOSE are.lol

Here's the list of supplies that I have used for this project

DCWV Lace and Linen Stack , Prima Papers
Inks : Worn Lipstick ,Shabby Shutters, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Spellbinders Floral Ovals
Mod Podge Matt
Big Shot Machine
Glossy Accents
Whimsy Stamps Celebration Pennants
Other embellishments are from my personal stash.

Hope you like this and give it a try.Keep your eyes peeled, since our DTs plan to come up with yummy inspiration pieces for you incorporating the theme of the Summer Sundae challenge.

Until then, adios amigas and amigos (if any).If you have any query please write at info@crafterscorner.in. or leave a comment.

Cheers,
Pallavi

My dear Peggy!!!

Hello everybody!

How are you all??? Stupid question, eh? I know it's hard to manage things with a summer as worst as this. Anyone caught cold?? Another stupid question? :) Well... I did! :D Thanks to my running nose, I'm going to keep this post very short.

Wondering who my dear Peggy is?? Peggy is an adorable girl with a flower basket in her hand  looking lovingly at a birdie! Still didn't get me?? Well... if you had checked the latest collection of Whimsy stamps at Crafters Corner, you would know who Peggy is! :)

When I opened the goodie bag Shalini sent to me, I then and there wanted to make something with the lovely little stamp. All whimsy stamps are adorable. I love them all! You too would. Check them out HERE.

Enough talking now.. here is the card I made. Look at the PP... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Prima's Firefly paper pad. I suggest everyone to hoard this paper pad....really worth it! I've been using these papers a lot these days... Only a few are left.  :'(

Close up snaps of my darling Peggy! Yes, I'm crazy about her! :) Just have a look at her expression! Isn't that enough to love her? She looks so sweet and kind! And the honey bee is such a sweetheart! The sweetest honeybee ever is from THIS stamp set. Check out all the Lawn fawn collection.

Peggy has lots of stray strands of hair flying here and there in the image...Oh yes, they are not here...I cut them off while fussy cutting the image. With all those stray strands of hair, she reminds me of my ever messed up hair! :) Well.. the truth is, I am not good at fussy cutting and so couldn't cut those fine strands :) :)... She looks even more lovable with those! I also replaced the bird with honey bee. The bird has a confused look and I wanted a happy, happy card. So I cut it off from the scene! :)

Now...how many of you have actually noticed the flourish in my card?? I wanted everything else other than my image to be subtle, so distressed the flourish with tumbled glass...Isn't the flourish awesome??? it's called the 'fantastic flourish' from Spell binders. You can get it in Crafters Corner for a very reasonable price. Since the product of the month is 'dies', we all will be showcasing dies in our projects. There a huge collection of dies at Crafters Corner. Have you checked them yet?

Cold is making me feel all drowsy! I must say good bye for now!
Oh! Did you notice that I didn't use glitter on my card? Well, I totally forgot and added glitter (one of the requirements in the present challenge)after I took good pics. Evidence?? Here... Used stickles..
