MORE SIMPLE CARDS WITH HEARTFELT CREATIONS

Hello Dear Friends ,

I,m Anita here  with some more Heartfelt Creation inspiration. You all must be wondering why do I stress so much on using Heartfelt Creations in my projects. The reason is very simple....I am a versatile crafter who loves flower making and Heartfelt Creations is all about beautiful flower creation. You pick up any die, any stamp or any paper, the primary focus is on flowers. One can create most amazing flowers with them. And as you will see various projects under this brand, you will find heavily layered cards ( I, too make them that way!!!) adorned with flowers and intricate dies. Also multifold cards, altered art etc etc. Yes !!!! These are perfect to create most intricate projects.

But , what about those, who like their cards and projects simple and easy making. The crafting world has one section of crafters who love making CAS cards or cards with minimum embellishments. So should they not use Heartfelt creations!!! Are these only for heavy card makers or intricate and advanced flower creator. I do not think so. The HC series is so versatile, one can create the most beautiful simple classy cards with them. Each series, whether Sunrise Lily, or Botanical Rose or Delightful daisy,,,,,take any one of them, these come with coordinating paper pad, stamps and dies. So beside the main flower stamp and die, a crafter like me has a lot of options to play with other stamps and dies to create diverse projects.

In my previous post on Heartfelt Creations and CAS cards, I showed you how one can made most elegant quick cards with their HC products.

Here again, I bring you some cards, that are simple and easy to make and yet they are not heavily decorated with flowers. So , all those out there, if you all are CAS queens who like simple cards , this post is for you all.

So get going and see how I have created each card from different series of  HC.
Crafters Corner has the entire range of Heartfelt Creations supplies and so no hunting around for them...old or new releases... we have them all under one roof.

This post is Picture Heavy with explanation so be patient. Take some coffee and relax and feast your eyes!!!

Here comes the first card.

In this card, I have created a textured background with Rangers Texture paste and Tim Holtz stencil Stripes. Then , I added some colour to my texture by spraying some Tumbled Glass Distress spray. I made the spray in a Tim Holtz mister by adding some water and Tumbled Glass re inker.
Then I tore the top right corner to break the montony of my card. Here I added some Blue shimmer card stock.  I made two flowers with the Delight Daisy Stamp and Die and also cut out some leaves from the same. I coloured the flowers with Archival Butter cup ink and the Leaves with fern Green Archival ink. Then I shaped my flowers on the HC deluxe flower shaping tool kit. This is a fantstic one in all toolkit for making flowers.
I layered my flowers and used Prima Glass Beads and flakes for the centre. The sentiment is from the Peacock Paisley paper pad and I applied some Rangers Crackle paint on top.I also added some beads and flakes near the flower to add more depth to my flowers. And the card is complete.

My second card

The Second card is my favourite because it has watercolouring. When I started with this card, I could never imagine that such beautiful backgrounds can be created so easily with Heartfelt Creations stamps. Here, I created the background, by doing some no line quick colouring. I stamped the Botanical Wings Rose bouquet stamp with antique linen ink and then used the distress inks, Fired brick and Peeled paint to colour the image. I did this very quickly as I did not want a perfect colouring, just some shabby shading . Then I sprayed some water and dried it. There !!! The background is ready.
This was followed by some flowers from the Botanical Wings Rose Stamp and die set. The flowers and Leaves are coloured with the same inks as above.

Third card

I loved the way, my third card turned out. Here I created a textured background, using the Tim Holtz embossing folder. We have a wide ranger of embossing folders in our store so, you can choose any one. I distressed the background with Pumice Stone and Bundled Sage distress inks and then Misted it with Perfect Pearls Spray mist. This added a beautiful sheen to my card.
I painted two images from the Botanical Rose Bouquet Cling stamp and coloured it with my Zig markers. I layered the two together and finished the center with Sunshine yellow Flower soft, Twine and some lace scrap. I added some corrugated strip at the back to add a little grunge effect. The sentiment is from the Classic Sunflower paper pad.

Fourth card

My final card is again too easy to make and yet it looks so pretty.
For this I again created a textured background with an embossing folder . I used a Pattern paper from the Peacock Paisley collection and distressed it with Rusty Hinge ink. Then I cut out a  circle from the same paper and also cut two die cuts in black from the Ornate border and Corner dies.
Then flower is made same as above from the Delightful Daisy die set. I have coloured it with copic markers and finished the flower center with some maroon flower soft.
The sentiment is from the Classic sunflower paper pad.

So That completes my post about Simple heartfelt Creations card. I hope you enjoyed going through it. Now, I,m sure even those who are not the heavy layered card makers , will really feel more easy to use these wonderful stamps and dies to create quick, simple and elegant card.
