Idea-ology Flip Frame

Hello everyone!
How are you all doing? I find altereting things so much fun! So for todays post I decided to alter the brand new Flip Frame by Idea-ology introducted at CHA this year!

This is how it looks! Its a super solid heavy weight frame!
p.s- this is a picture heavy post so sit back sip your favourite drink and read on!

The frame has a blackish silver kind of finish and since I decided to use brown shade papers I inked it up using metallic gold Alcohol ink. As you all know alchol inks work great at metal surface and they are permanent! :)

I dabbed up the ink to create slight texture. I didnt go for a full coverage as I wanted my frame to look two toned and not just plain metallic gold.

Next I started with the flip album - cut cardstock and pattern papers and arrange the sequence. Adhere the pattern paper using tacky tape. Then mark n punch holes and add eyelets!

I've used Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper pad for this project I've distressed all the papers using Gathered Twigs distress ink.

As you can see I was being a lil stingy lol so I used few sheets which had the branding edge. to cover this up I've used a strip of pattern paper :p I feel it saves paper and the edge looks good!
I've also added flaps n pockets to few of the pages! more pictures down below!

Ive embellished my project using the chipboard die cuts from the collection! This is one thing I albolutely love about Graphic45! They always make such good variety of chipboard cutouts and co-ordinating flower die cuts making it so easy to embellish projects made with their collections!

I fussy cut few roses fro the paper pad and layered them on top of the chipboard cutout to add some dimension!

Created a tag holder here using a chipboard cutout!

This page is one of the brand marker page :p I created a small pocket for the tag! Doesn't it look cool?

Hope you all liked my frame!

Altered Little Cottage House!

Hello everyone!
How are you all doing? Hope you all are enjoying the fantastic posts by my fellow DT's they are doing a fab job! Today I am here to share a very dreamy whimsical project with all of you!
I decided to alter the super cute little cottage by Kaisercraft!

Here's how it looked!

To start with I have applied Gesso to all the pcs both. And then I painted them using a lite shade of Arcylic paint.

I dried all of them with my heat tool to speed up the process. Next I traced all the pcs on my pattern papers selecting which part of the cottage has which print.

Next I added this Gorgeous paper by Pion designs to my base and I cut the slits using my craft knife this is a very important step cause if you dont cut the slits well the house wont assemble properly. I inked the edges with Victorian velvet distress ink its one of my favourite colours! I just lovee it!
And yes for the entire project I've used red tacky tape from our store to add all the pattern papers. We have a wide variety of sizes available in our store and trust me this is the best tacky tape you will ever find! It holds the paper so well.

Next I assembelled the house and begun embellishing! Lets see how it turned out?

Ta-Daaa!

Isn't it pretty? I just lovee how it turned out. The pion design papers are soo Gorgeous! They are oh so perfect for shabby chic style projects. The soothing colours <3

I have decorated the cottage with mulberry flowers from our store!

Do you see that cute nest? Its availabe in our store! And do you see those tiny crystals? They are a new addition - These are diamond gems by Marianne designs I just love them . Our store has them in 3 different colurs Do check out the "Jewells and Enamels" category of our website.

I added this super cute mail box miniature by Timeless miniatures. I've decorated it with a cute resin bird and the tiny flowers are also available at our store.

The main highlight of my cottage is this mini lantern by idea-ology I just love it!

Here's how it looks in the dark! That lantern really adds up to the cottage!

Hope you all liked my post!

DEEPLY IN LOVE.......

Hi Friends

Anita here, with another inspirational project for you. And I just loved making this one. All the products used here are very very precious to me.

This is a photo frame and I have altered it completely with lot of distressing, stamping and misting.
The focal point here is the very beautiful Tim Holtz tiny lantern --Idea-ology Mini Lantern 1.375 that actually has a battery and glows when plugged in. I just fell in love with it, the moment, I got it. It is so vintage!!!
This post is picture heavy so please be patient.

Full View

The tiny Tim Holtz Lantern

The verse

--so much love

Another view-the lantern is not glowing

The Glowing Lantern
.Isn't it very cosy and romantic!!!

Now lets have a look at all the supplies that I,ve used to make this.

I pasted papermania papers on a photo frame and distressed it with Distress inks-Old paper, vintage photo and aged Mahogany. The I used Masking from Tattered angles screens and  I stamped swirls from Inkadinkado-wedding collection and Hero arts -Script stamp. with Pumice Stone and Vintage Photo. This was followed by some misting from Tattered angles. That gave a nice shimmery look to the whole surface.
Now comes, dies----Extreme right corner has the famous Cherry Lynn Wedding Vows, Tim Holtz Weathered Clock, Cherry Lynn-Fanciful Flourish, Cherry Lynn- French Pastry Doiley, and  Leaves from Marianne. and the Lovely fence is from Magnolia.
The verse is from Quote Sticker Stack. The post is from Spellbinders-Elegant posts and the leaves are  Leaves from MArianne. The lantern label is the new spellbinder-Decorative Labels 8 embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folders-Swiss dots. The center frame is another CB folder.
All the dies have been cut in the Sizzix Big Shot MAchine and at Crafters Corner you get it at the best price.
The store has a beautiful collection of mulberry flowers and leaves, pollens, fillers etc.

So what you just need to make this pretty frame, are all available at the Crafters Corner-all supplies under one roof.
And you can also place order for any craft supply from any brand, and we will get it for you at the best price/ All you need is to mail at info@crafterscorner.in
Any queries, please feel free to ask.
And do not forget to take part in the Challenge #3 that a has 8x8 Fiskars Stamp Set for the prize.
So thats all for today.
Happy Crafting!!!
