Peacock themed cards

Hi friends,
I believe Peacocks are one of god's most beautiful creations and I can not talk enough about this beautiful bird. As a child I remember this huge pretty bird walking in my house and I think my love for it grew along.
I have so many pretty stamps with birds and recently I came across this stamp by Fiskars called Elegant peacock.
An amazing stamp set which can be used to create so many types of projects.
I made three simple cards using this stamp.

First card:
This is a water colour piece and I used distress markers for this technique.

I stamped the focal image with a light coloured ink and then did a loose style water colouring using Markers.
Added few details with a black liner pen and wink of Stella .
Layered the water colour piece on a blue sheet and finally adhered it on a white a2 card.

Second card :
I created a tone on tone background by stamping the feather over a blue cardstock. I used Versamark ink to get the effect.
Here is a close up of the background .

I used my doohickeys peacock feathers die to cut the feathers and coated them with clear embossing powder .
I repeated the step twice to get good dimension on the feathers.
Just stuck them together and it was a very quick and easy card to make .

Third card:
For this one I wanted to create a wooden panel and stick with the same blue coloured card stock;)
Got inspired by a card layout on pintrest and immediately did this one ...
The feather from the stamp is the focal point if this card which I have embossed with black powder.

Hope u liked the cards I created using this one beautiful
stamp set. Please feel free if you have any queries and I will b happy to answer them.
