Its Anita here, with a tutorial on a gift basket which is so simple to make and yet looks really good.
This post is heavily loaded with pics as I ,ve tried to explain each step with a photo.
All the craft materials are available at the Crafters Corner-all craft supplies under one roof.
Supplies--Red card stock, yellow card stock,
Papermania capsule collection sunshine paper pack
Archival Jumbo ink pad,
punch bunch scalloped circle
double sided foam tape
wonder tape
glue gun
fiskars-deluxe Sure Cut paper trimmer
scor-pal,
scissors
Just rite stamps
ribbon and flowers from stash.
Using the trimmer, cut the red card stock-8.5 inchesx8.5 inches.
Cut the yellow card stock in two sizes--4 pcs--2.25 ''x2.25''
4 pcs --- 2.25 ''x 3.25''
Take two coordinating patterns and cut 4 squares to fit the 4 yellow mat
squares and 4 rectangles to fit the yellow rectangle mat pieces.
For the handle--cut 1 strip-14''x1.5'' from red CS and 1 strip
14''x1'' from Yellow CS
Now using the scor-pal , scor at 2.5'' from the left side.
turn the paper clockwise and score again at 2.5''.
What you get is this. Then cut as shown.
Stick the PP pieces to the yellow mat pieces.
Stick on the CS as shown.
prepare the handle as shown,
Apply wonder tape on four corner as shown.
Bring the two corner squares together and stick, Repeat on the other side.
Stamp out the sentiments.
Punch out scallop circles around the sentiments
Put the handle on the basket using two brads.
Proceed as shown
Decorated the baskets with ribbons and flowers.
