A GIFT BASKET

Hi friends,

Its Anita here, with a tutorial on a gift basket which is so simple to make and yet looks really good.
This post is heavily loaded with pics as I ,ve tried to explain each step with a photo.
All the craft materials are available at the Crafters Corner-all craft supplies under one roof.

Supplies--Red card stock, yellow card stock,
Papermania capsule collection sunshine paper pack
                                            Archival Jumbo ink pad
                                            punch bunch scalloped circle
                                            double sided foam tape
                                             wonder tape
                                              glue gun
                                             fiskars-deluxe Sure Cut paper trimmer
                                             scor-pal,
                                            scissors
                                            Just rite stamps
                                             ribbon and flowers from stash.
Using the trimmer, cut the red card stock-8.5 inchesx8.5 inches.

Cut the yellow card stock in two sizes--4 pcs--2.25 ''x2.25''
                                      4 pcs  --- 2.25 ''x 3.25''

Take two coordinating patterns and cut 4 squares to fit the 4 yellow mat
squares and 4 rectangles to fit the yellow rectangle mat pieces.
For the handle--cut 1 strip-14''x1.5'' from red CS and 1 strip
                                14''x1'' from Yellow CS
Now using the scor-pal , scor at 2.5'' from the left side.
turn the paper clockwise and score again at 2.5''.

What you get is this. Then cut as shown.
Stick the PP pieces to the yellow mat pieces.
Stick on the CS as shown.
                              prepare the handle as shown,
Apply wonder tape on four corner as shown.
Bring the two corner squares together and stick, Repeat on the other side.

                                 Stamp out the sentiments.
Punch out scallop circles around the sentiments
Put the handle on the basket using two brads.
                             Proceed as shown

Decorated the baskets with ribbons and flowers.
