CARDS AND 49 AND MARKET FOR YOU

Hello everyone.............

A new day of the week, new beginnings and new products... Let's start this new week with some new products!!!

I'm Anita here and a warm hug and big hello to all my crafter friends at Crafters Corner . We have always, strived to bring new techniques and products at Crafters Corner to keep you all updated with the happenings in the crafting community.
So when I came to know about products from 49 and Market , I was so thrilled. I have been eyeing these since their release and they have been designed by a world class crafter, a mixed media expert and a master crafter whose projects are treat for everyone. I am a huge fan of her work and religiously follow her for inspirations and ideas.
GABRIELLA POLLOCCO. So you can imagine my excitement, when I was asked to show some of her stamps to you all and how I used them for my cards.

49 and Market has a wide range of beautiful stamps and handmade flowers, all now available at the Crafters Corner and they will be an asset to any crafter who loves to create mixed media techniques.
Even those, who are a little scared of this art, can also use them easily because of their beautiful design.
In this post today, I am featuring some stamps and my cards made with them with different backgrounds. I will be bringing more projects in my next post highlighting more on these . These are called Gabi's Texture Stamps and you can shop from them here

Here are my cards using these stamps and as I proceed, I will explain how I made them step by step .

Soak water colour paper from Brusto and spritz some water on it.
Colour the paper with distress inks-Picked Raspberry, Mustard seed and Spiced Marmalade. Darken the top edge with Distress ink Fired Brick.
With stencil- Moving Vines and Liquitex modelling paste, I added a design like trailing vines. Dry with heat gun.
With  Gabi's Stamp-Texture add some water droplets as shown with Archival Jet Black ink.
Add a sentiment with black ink using the stencil or you can add any sentiment of your choice.
To give a 3D look to the droplets, remove the paint from inside the droplets with a wet brush, as if you are lifting the paint . Dab with a tissue to dry. Add a dot of white acrylic paint.
Paint two butterflies , fussy cut and add Glossy Accents and sprinkle with Distress glitter.
Add some spritzed dots with white gesso. Add some mini flowers.

This card uses the beautiful flowers from 49 and market.
Distress the paper with Distress inks- Fired brick, candied apple , mustard seed and spiced marmalade.
Add some design in different corners using the stencil- Mask Mini with Gathered Twigs Distress ink.
Add some more textured design with the Gabi's Stamp- Daisies and Butterflies are free.
Tear the card stock diagonally from two corners till the center.
Add the Burlap die cut from Cherry Lynn designs and then add lace as shown. Add flowers from
Rustic Barn Medium Blooms and few leaves.
Add a sentiment.

This is my favourite card.
I loved its cool colour and this simple design.
For this card, I distress the card stock with a blend of Distress inks-Peacock feathers and cracked pistachio.
Then add some texture with Gabi's stamp-Butterflies are free and the leaf from Gabi's texture stamp
Stamp the leaf image with Versamark embossing pad and apply white Embossing powder.
Heat set with a heat gun to get this design. Tear the card stock into two halves roughly.
Distress the edges with Gathered Twigs Ink.
Score a dark brown card stock on the Martha Stewart score board at 1/8th inch interval.
Tear and adhere the green designed card stock as shown. Add a sentiment from Penny black stamps-Edge to Edge. Wrap twine around the card as shown.

This card has mixed media elements.
I loved creating the background of this card which has lots of texture and dimension.
To create the card, Spray the card stock with Distress spray Peeled paint, and Faded jeans.
Let it dry.
Add stitches all around the card using the Gabi's Line Stitch stamp using the Archival Back ink.
Add the brick wall image using the Gabi's Texture stamp.
Give scoring checkered lines on the score board.
Apply Prima Clear Crackle paste and let it dry.
Add some more texture using white modelling paste and stencil mini mask.
Add some sparkle with Prima Glitter flakes-copper and Flower soft-sage.
Paint three daisies from the Gabi's stamp-daisies  with Zig markers.
Add a corrugated paper strip in the center and add the three fussy cut daisies.
Add some leaves from stash and sentiments.
