Hi everyone,
Today is my turn to share with you some inspiration for our current challenge 'Anything goes' hosted by our incredibly talented DT member Shalini..As this month our focus is on the Lindy's Stamp gang mists I am sharing with you a wall-hanging I have made in the mixed media style...The hanging is backed by an embroidery hoop to make it sturdier and also providing a hook to hang it..So here's a look at my work :-
PS : This is my first attempt with a full fledge mixed media and I know I have made so many mistakes ..So any suggestion or comment's on how I can improve my work is really welcome ..so fans of Mixed Media please do share your input :)

Base CS- Fabriano Brustro .
Sakura Acrylic Color Gesso.
Mists :-
Lindy's Stamp Gang -Hottie Pattotie Mists.
Dies :-
Spellbinder's Fluer De Lis Squares.
Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish.
Cheery Lynn 3 in 1 Exotic Butterflies (Small).
My Favorite Things Layered Rose.
Inks :-
Staz on Black Ink
Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
Distress inks : Scattered Straw.
Distress Stains : Mowed lawn ,Picked Raspeberry and Wild honey.
Stamps :-
Fiskars/Teresa Collins Girly Posh Stamp set.
The Crafter's Workshop 6 * 6 Mini Hexagons.
Ranger Perfect Pearls (White).
Charms.

I really had a lot of fun creating the background for this wall-hanging...First I have cut out circles using the lid of a biscuit tin as my template and then I have colored the entire surface with white acrylic paint and then used texture white paste to make the base....Then,using the Mini Hexagons template from The Crafter's Workshop I have tried to create some textured background with Gesso ,then used the Lindy Mists 'Hottie Patottie' to color my background....Used some fabric lace from my stash and various small embellies like Buttons,Charms,Can opener tab,Soda bottle cover to create the entire look of my project and then again coated all of these with the texture white(Gesso)...Also,I have done some stamping using Staz on Black ink and used some die-cut flowers,butterflies and frames to create my project....The supplies that I have used are listed below.
