Hi Friends and Craft lovers. This
is Shalini and I am here today with Tutorial of my new creation – Photo Frame
with Dual Dye cut.
The frame where photos are pasted
is made up of a unique method of using TWO dies together which would create a
unique shape on paper where your pics can be pasted. Let me explain in detail.
Supplies needed
Two Dies ( here i had used spellbinder dies)
Cardstock
Step 1
On the “Multipurpose Platform” of
“Big Shot”, place an outer dye depending on what shape you would like to give
to your photo on the frame. Inside this dye, place a oval dye in such a fashion
that the centre of both the dyes are almost same. This would need a bit of
practice but soon you would be able to do it perfectly.
Step 2
Place the paper to be cut on top
of these dies.
Place the acrylic plate on top of
the paper and pass it through the “Big Shot” machine.
The paper would come out with Die
cut marks.
Place the “Enlarged Embossing Pads” on the
paper now in TAB 1 and pass it again through the “Big Shot”. This will create
the embossing mark of the die on the paper.
Remove the cut parts of the paper
and you would get a lovely frame with inner oval where you can place your pics
(or can write some message).
Make more such frames using different shapes of outer and inner dies.
Step 8
Paste these cut frames on a
rectangular paper which has already been beautified with pattern paper and,
beads and ribbons.
You can make many such
rectangular frames with different shapes made in Step 7 above and connect them
with a nice paper flower or with something else like a ribbon or lace. Here I
have created a two step frame connected with a flower.
Finish the frame with some metallic
/ antique trinkets and ribbons.
I hope this tutorial would help you all
