The garden fence...

Hey everyone! Hope all are doing good! It's my turn to post today and I hope you are ready for more inspiration. Have you seen the first two posts this month? If you haven't you MUST!

Here are the links for you-

Now that you are back from those two awesome posts, don't compare mine with them! :D

I used the Joy Crafts Garden Fence die for all my three projects that I'm going to share today. Here's how it looks. Isn't that adorable?!

OK.. For the first card, I went pretty literal. I die cut a piece of water color card stock, colored with distress inks. I wanted a pretty creeper running across my fence. Used Cheery Lynn's Flourish Leaf strip for the vines. I stamped the sentiment and assembled the card. I found it incomplete. So I stamped those dots and the result made me happy!

The bird house part of the die is SO cute! I decided to use it alone for the tag. So cut off the rest and colored the needed part. The birds are from the same die. The bird that we get from the die cut was placed the 'wrong side up' on the sentiment as I wanted to make them look as if the two birds are looking at each other. (My hubby's idea actually!)

The last is a Mixed Media project and I altered a frame. I'm not good at Mixed Media, so people, please be kind!

I don't know how I started and ended this really! I just went on adding things to it. I first put down a layer of Gesso on the frame I wanted to alter and kept adding paints, inks, embossing paste, inks again, Lindys mists....Oh I really don't remember the order. Sorry! I used this to frame a sentiment. You could place a picture of yours as well. By the way, the sentiment is from my stash.

Here is the final result.

The only thing worth mentioning here is that I 'stretched my die'. The original die cut isn't this long. I combined two die cuts and made it look longer. I also changed the position of the bird...

So...I hope you like these projects. See you again!
