butterflies!!

Hello friends!

Hope everyone is doing good.

I'm here with a very quick post to share the cards I made using a single stamp for my focal image on three different cards.

I won't talk much. I'll just share the cards and how I made them. today's cards are all about butterflies! :)

We have a butterfly girl on the team and I hope she likes them on my cards! :)

I'll link up all the products used at the end of the post.

Here is the first-

Follow the below mentioned steps to make this card-

1. Take a piece of sturdy white card stock and using 'microbial' stencil apply embossing paste.
2. While the embossing paste is still wet, add Ranger- Melt Art Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel and melt it with your heat gun.
3. Spray a bit of Lindy's Delphinium Turquoise and let dry.
4. Stamp the gorgeous butterfly from Antique Engravings stamp set from Hero Arts on a water color paper and color it with peacock feathers distress ink. Fussy cut it.
5. Stick the butterfly on the panel with foam adhesive for dimension.
6. On a small strip of vellum, heat emboss the sentiment in black and adhere it to the panel.
7. Stick the whole assembly on a kraft color card stock.

The second card is pretty easy and direct.

I just stamped the butterflies directly on my base card. Colored them with distress inks and finished the card with few glitter strips and sequins.

Follow the below steps to make this card-
1. Ink up the Hero Arts 'Envelope pattern' wood mount stamp with dusty concord distress ink and spray some water. (Not too much if you want to achieve those defined lines).
2. Once it is dry, take some more ink with ink blending foam and make a small semi circle on one edge of the stamped card. I wanted it to act as a back ground for my focal image.
3. Stamp the butterfly on vellum and heat emboss it in white and fussy cut it.
4.  Take a solid circle image from Hero Arts 'Circles' stamp set and stamp with dusty concord and seedless preserves distress inks.
5. Finish the card with a sentiment on a strip of vellum and finally adhere the butterfly.

Note- I made a mistake of selecting the darker colored inks for those circles. You might want to stamp in much lighter tones to make your focal image stand out.

That's it for today.
