Hi Friends.
I, Shalini Pahwa, is presenting to you my post for the month – "Name
Plague".
It is said that a person’s name always remain his or her best friend
throughout his life. Because “the name” would not leave him, whatever the
circumstances. The word that a person listens most often throughout his life is
his name. While he is just an infant, he listens to it from his mother. This
sweet voice makes the most lasting impression on his mind. While he grows up,
his friends, his peers, his spouse, his kids and even his enemies call him by
the same name. His name sticks on to him, even after his death. Today I intend
to celebrate this “NAME” with my creation.
Since the name is SO SO important for everyone, we need to make it
your best word and your pride. That’s exactly what I have created – A NAME
PLAGUE which celebrates this most important word in your life.
The name is created out of MDF board, cut in an artistic fashion and
coloured using acrilic colour. The words are then pasted on a hard board or sun
board which is pre-covered with a combination of DCWC pattern papers. Then I cut cage or butterfly from Die-Version die and Spellbinders die depending on your creative preference and
what image do you intent to give to the plague.
The plague can be hung on your room’s entry with a ribbon or pasted on
top of your study or your cupboard with a double sided tape.
Since I have created this plague for my daughter, I have used lots of
pink and purple color which is her favourite. You may use a different color and
charms depending on whom you are making this plague.
