Love Explosion box!

Hello everyone! Welcome to a brand new post at Crafters Corner Blog!
Hope your day is going well? For today's post I wanted to make something fun n pretty so I created this Explosion Box card in brand new Dimensions!
Here are some pics!

Aren't these prints gorgeous? Its the the Prima Marketing- Rose Quartz collection! This collection is so pretty, the prints are lovely! And the colours are perfect for a love theme project!

Here's how I did up the lid- with Gorgeous Prima Marketing flowers! The best part is our store carries all co-ordinating flowers and embellishments to the new collections launched at Cha2017
So you can pick the perfect colour matched embellishments for your projects!

Andd here is how i did the inside of the box! The gorgeous flowers with my all time favorite Dress my Craft sequins!

I've created a message bottle using these Mega size cork bottles from our store!

Added these pretty die cuts and some metal charms from the store to make some tags!

So now lets get started on how to make this pretty Explosion Box!

So we start with 5 pcs for the construction of the base-
2pcs measuring 7 x 4.5 inches
2pcs measuring 7 x 3.5 inches
and 1 pc measuring 4.5x 3.5 inches

Now score and tape- the pcs measuring 7x4.5 and 7x3.5 inches
Attach them to the 4.5x3.5 inch pc
This is how the base will look once you finish sticking all the pcs together.

I've cut 8pcs of pattern paper from my paper pad.
Sizes - 4pcs measuring 3x6 , 4x6

Next I've distressed them with Spun sugar distress ink

Next i've cut some gray cardstock from the AC cardstock neutrals pack
Size - 4pcs- 6.25x 4.25
4pcs- 6.25x 3.25

To decorate my glass bottle I decided to use these amazing rub ons by Prima marketing!

Cut the design and rub it on the bottle. Make sure you rub well and remove all the air bubbles otherwise the foiling wont be neat

Next place a piece of foil and rub it well

And voila! You are done!

I've cut some more pcs of pattern papers to make message rolls for the bottle!

Tied them up using Prima Wire thread!

And embellished them with these Super Cute butterflies!

Now its time to embellish the box! Used these pretty Prima flowers, Dress my Craft Sequins, metal charms , glass bottles and more!

Next I've taken this Bottle cap by Prima and made a pretty pc for the lid!

Hope you all enjoyed today's post!
Looking forward to see your versions to the Explosion box!
Have a great day!
Love

  2. Hi there! Your explosion box came out beautifully! I've made an explosion box in the past, but it was different dimensions (the smaller square one); and I've been on the hunt for a tutorial on a taller box. Thank you for taking the time out to show us how to create this one. I have a YouTube channel and blog, Decor8yourlife. Once I have created mine, I will upload it and direct crafty friends to your tutorial. Thank you and be blessed :) -- Sandi
