In the meantime, here is a very easy tutorial to create an easel card box with a drawer. But before I share a tutorial for it here's a look at how the finished project looks like (Please excuse my photography it's been raining here for past 3 days and there seems to be no good sunlight hence the dull photography ) :
This is how it looks when closed :
2. Your choice of pattern papers. You can either use ONE 12 X 12 inch sheet or TWO 6 X 6 inch sheets of the same pattern.
3. Fiskars Sure Cut paper trimmer.
4. Martha Stewart Scoreboard.
5. Tacky Tape/ Glue of your choice.
6. 2 Brads.
Now for the steps on how to make an easel card box with a drawer :-
1. Cut ONE piece of 6 X 6 inch cardstock and score at 1 inch on all four sides and cut a small slit on all four sides where the two score lines meet as shown in the picture below ( This will form your drawer )
3. Now, to make the band that goes round the drawer cut a piece of cardstock measuring 4 1/8 of an inch X 11 inches and score at 1 1/8 inch , 5 1./4 inch, 6 3/8 inch and 10 1/2 inch.
