Beach Inspired Post for Kids

Happy Wednesday, everyone! 

Hope you are enjoying your Diwali celebration! 

It’s time for another Paper craft and today i would like to share with a clean and simple theme: the BEACH! Especially for your kids.

 

These creation are remind me (somewhat) my childhood vacation in Dubai beach  :) 

Look at these.....Fish net, glass bottle, tiny slippers, etc  i love it all. 

 

Gifts are no doubt the most beautiful way to greet someone and to make other feel special that you’re caring about them. It is really good when you give a handmade album / cards / anything to any one because it helps in making your connection more strong and powerful.

So here is some making pictures for you to get the idea

1. Album: I have already shared many easy way of binding. This one also almost same 

I took 2 diff color cardstock.

Score the lines 5'1/2 - 5'5/8 - 11'1/8

How i attached here: is Using design papers or pattern paper

Its very simple. Next part is, Need extra thick for front and back of my Album. So i attached one more layer cardstock. And decorate the album in your way.

3. Envelop : By using We R Memory Keepers Envelope punch 

 

 

Creating these beach-themed projects is lots of fun for me. I hope they give pleasure to the kids who receive them.

Pretty Gifts with DMC products

Hey Everyone, Suzna here......Today i have 2 DMC projects to share with you. Now DMC have wide range of different products. I love love these ...... :-*

So the 1st one is Glass jar decor : Actually this jar i bought from shopping mall, not costly but its cute one, and this jar is actually for storing the spices. But crafters who are interested in altered art :-) ....is it? 

This jar decoration, its very simple. I just fill with some cute DMC stuffs and Prima Marketing flowers. Use glue gun for gluing. Please check the link below of this post, so you can easy to find out 

DMC product 

My second one is a small Scrapbook, This project i uses the simple and beautiful DMC paper pad "Dots n Strips", and Floral symphony motif sheets. Why i choose this paper? Bcoz i need to highlight the textured stencil design. Same time this Motif sheet's fussy cut images help me to decorate more. 

First i made a scrapbook base: Size 5X6 inch : just 4 piece of white chipboard

These are my arrangements: Base sheet, fussy cut pieces and die cut leaves. 

First part: Texturing with stencil

2nd part: Designing, layering the six pages. Its not easy, actually i'm trying many combinations, and once it fix..i start gluing.

Finally Like this :-)

Gluing the pages to the base: I prefer red tacky double side tape. And layering i choose form tape. Check the below links, Crafters corners have very nice and thin form tapes in different width( like 6mm to 2mm)

Cover Design: I have used one pair earrings, Fussy cut image and Butterflies from Dots n Strips motif sheets

Wall Hanging Garden Home

We all love not only paper craft or Mixed media, we love mini or tiny things. And the best part is DMC launched many different miniature accessories. So i thought today i would like to share Door design art. Or I can say this is wall hanging Garden Home :)

I couldn't take the video. But i took few step by step pictures to get a idea. 

This is a MDF house shape tray. 

I ordered two MDF trays depends on my Door size. I attached small tray inside my house shape mdf tray with Prima 3D matte gel (its permanent glue). After drying, i apply Prima sand paste and plaid craft chalk paint (Sheep white) 

Next i add Dusty attic brick chipboad, or you guys can use handcut chipboard pieces. 

I used Prima metallic copper paint for coloring bricks

And These DMC moss sheets are perfect for decorating like Garden. Use glue gun for attaching.

These is the way i attached. Not fully covered with moss. Added few small flowers, pots or if you have any garden related miniatures add that too. My design is based on wall hanging, so my tray dont have much space to add miniatures. But i tried with my level best.

Top of the tray i used burlap lace.

Decoration are endless, And here i used few more gardening stuffs. Most of them from Crafters Corner. All supply details shared on end of this post.

I like this Door. So i choose this design from DMC brand. Many more door designs are available.
