Hi friends ,
The month is so colourful, festive and with nature at its best….. I am so happy to tell you that our store is full of gorgeous dies and goodies...I picked up few tattered lace dies and they were just the most amazing intricate dies I ever had.
Since a long time I wanted to try my hands on Inlaid die cutting technique and this peacock was just so perfect for it.
I planned a tag with the peacock as it's focal point and created a background with pretty flowers and butterflies. I like things to be proportionate so I selected the embellishments and stamps which fit in perfectly :)
To start with :
Cut the die in four colours- teal, blue, green and purple.
keep all the pieces carefully and start inlaying the pieces.
I took a sticky sheet and placed my outline die cut (in teal ) on it.Then started placing the first colour which was purple pieces in my case and then added the blue followed by green ones.
That's it ....rest was super easy and I created this pretty tag with this peacock.
Hope you like it and give this super cool technique a try.
For any doubts feel free to contact me and I will be more than glad to help you...
lots of love
Arjita
