Hi Guys .....
I am back with a long post.....I thought its a national holiday so lets make most our of it......and have a long chat ....I m sure you all are ready with your coffee !!!

As u all know the time flies .....so it flew again ....and we at CRAFTERS CORNER have reached a stage where it becomes a little difficult to write a post like this where I don't understand that from where to start ....because its difficult to say BYE to my old fellow crafters who worked with us ....

But anyhow ...I have to do this....
so I would like to give a very warm farewell to my lovely fellow crafters who worked amazingly well with us for such a long time and I m really thankful to them for really giving our blog their best of the best jobs.....
We all miss you HUSSENA....because you always helped us whenever we needed you ......u are a gem of a person....nobody can take your place and steal your style...u r the best in your usage of subtle colors.....LOVE YOU.

MALLIKA ....u r a very talented paper crafter....and u really gave a new meaning to all vintage stuff...even I started using my junkyard after looking at your work....:P
wish you a very happy married life......GOD BLESS.....

 Bonjour my dear crafters! I am Bipasha from Assam. I had always a deep craving towards any form of art since childhood but studies and a constant drive to attain a remarkable career kept me always busy and far away from it. I seriously started making cards and scrapbooks from the March, 2012 and created my blog “Create Ur World” after I stepped onto the corporate world as a software engineer in Tech Mahindra, Hyderabad. For me, crafting acts as a stress buster, a relaxation from the busy work schedules and hectic daily routines and by now it has become a big-time addiction!! I guess, you all will agree that ;)!!Crafting does sooth our mind...
Since then, I have continued receiving full support & encouragement from my parents, my granny (who is an ingenious crafter too and used to help with my school projects ,and my best friend ,Russel who has been a constant guide to all my crafty decisions and a critical observer of my work & not to forget my dear friends from my workplace and hostel !! To acclaim some specific genre as my forte I would say I love creating themes in 3Ds, and consider my each creation as a “Canvas” .I also love drawing and painting my own digis. To be honest, a lot of the time my inspiration comes from wanting things I cannot afford. Instead of buying expensive things I like, I find ways to make them myself. I believe, creativity is just looking at things differently!
I am truly amazed to see so many ambitious and brilliant crafters in this magical crafty blogland, and I make it a point to learn something new from them each time and can proudly say have made a hell lot of crafter buddies  J. And what else? A lot of there is still to explore within me…so stay tuned !

Lastly, my sincere thanks goes to Shalini di for giving me the honour to work as a DT in the ingenious crafting group “Crafters Corner”.It was always dream for me to be somehow connected to this super talented group and to work with best products and tools. I was overwhelmed when u called me the other day ---will save the date ;):: Can say the best day of the year 2013 till date !

Hello ladies ,

It's Samreen Merchant here I've got a blog named BlossomsCreativity

One day Shalini left a msg if I'd be interested in joining the CCDT .... "Heavens! i'd love to design for one of the leading INDIAN craft suppliers!! Sounds exciting" I thought to myself but the push to get into thé design team came from My fellow crafters and my Mom ... I gave her a thumbs up the next day :) 

I have been crafting as long as i can remember , I am an artist because the talent my mother has been gifted with is now in my veins :p

My love for crafting includes different mediums like clay,decoupage, paper ,beading  and everything floral ... I'm a real nerd when it comes to studies..... I study part time and craft full time :p 

Although I've recently been very much involved with clay and decoupage,I still paper craft with "the simpler the better" approach which can also be found in my designs. I love shabby chic floral images ,vintage graphics and clean pastel shades which is visible in my projects and my overall crafting style.

I hope I can share my love of crafting to everyone out there and inspire you to try newer things

I am Pallavi and I live in Pune.I have always been interested in beautiful things and at one time was and still am interested in home decor and interior design.My day job was (recently took a break) nowhere close to arts and crafts but I like to spend my spare time indulging in creative pursuits.I have not done much scrapbooking and have been mainly interested in altered arts and mixed media,but I am slowly delving into various forms of papercrafting.This DT opportunity will help me enhance my skills and widen my horizon.

Thanks for including me in the very talented team of artists in your design team.I remember when I had just started out with crafting and was frantically looking for supplies,yours was one shop that I bought most papers from.I was extremely happy to have found a place where I could see products that I had been salivating over for some time.:-).I like that the Crafter's Corner store truly caters to customer requirements and you are open to introducing new and latest craft supplies to the Indian crafting community.I also like that you keep up to date with the trends in the worldwide crafting communityI have been regularly following your blog too and am always bowled over with the creativity of the design team and I am amazed that you decided to choose me to contribute.That is a privilege and an honour and I am thankful for that.

I am Shalini Pahwa. I have been creative since my childhood. Pure science and mathematical puzzles never drove me. It was colors and strokes of pencil which always used to catch my fascination.

After basic education, I did a course in fine arts. After graduating, I was looking around for an

opportunity to satiate my creative and artistic appetite. This I got at Archies. Digitalization of designs was at a preliminary stage at that time and this provided me with a large ground to try new and unexplored feats in designing. My seven year stint at Archies as a Creative Head was hence full with new experiments in designing, execution and production.

After honing my skills at static designs, I decided to try new digitalization techniques. Animation was hence a natural choice. Animation helped me think beyond the static world of graphic designing and I worked for over 4 years in a dynamic environment of animation.

However, one fine day, I discovered the romance in PAPER… and my life changed…

On a piece of unspotted, figureless sheet of paper, I got a medium to express my art, my desires, my dreams, my festivities and my love for nature. I started molding paper to construct leaves, flowers and shapes which are inherent to me. I started cutting paper to make soothing shapes, brightly colored borders, flowers and gloated at the romance of how a paper can be used to express your inner feelings.

Although, in this world of web, there are many mediums to present your creations to the world, CraftersCorner, provided me not only with a medium of presenting my creations, but also gave me and other designers a platform to share our innovations, discuss new things in paper crafting and a competitive spirit to present something better and different to what you would have seen earlier.
In this endevour, I will continue presenting my latest creations on this amazing blog. Hope you all would enjoy my creations as I enjoy making them.

I was thrilled and on top of the world when Shalini offered me to be an exclusive DT member for videos for MY Most Fav. store Crafters Corner.

Now here's a little about me:

My name is Riti Poddar and I live in Kolkata, India. I'm married to my sweetheart & Best Friend Sourav for 8 years now. I'm lucky to have such a supportive & encouraging hubby, without whom I would not have been here today. I enjoy all kinds of paper crafting, be it scrapbooking.Card making, Altering Items,Decoupaging,Mini Album making, Mixed Media etc. Crafting is my passion & it gives me immense pleasure & satisfaction.Also it's one of the Best Ways to get rid of stress in today's world.

I have been crafting ever since I was a little kid. My mum used to tell me that I was prolly born with glue,scissors & a paintbrush in my hand. ROFL !! As a kid & even now, I have always gifted people my handmade cards & altered items for their birthdays, anniversaries & other occassions. I have been making Rakhis for my brothers, Decorating my home for Janamashtami, Creating platters for Holi & Diwali as a kid and still enjoy doing it! Since then I have enjoyed every bit of my passion for crafting and want to continue to do so. I call my craft room my 'heaven' and that's how I have a blog named - 'A LIL PIECE OF HEAVEN'

And a little something about me...I have been crafting for about 8 years now.. a self taught crafter if you can call it that....never had any artsy background, and never ever took any classes (unless you count coloring classes at the age of 6, which I quit in 5 days) What I make and create today is the absolute result of what other's have shared on the web...and it was time I return the favor by passing on the knowledge that I have learnt.And when Shalini asked me on board and with this particular idea in mind, I had no second thoughts....So I am here to share my knowledge and teach the basics of newer products as well as old, show some tips and techniques and tutorials. And nothing would excite me more to share what I have learnt on this journey...because they say, the more you teach, the more you learn...and my thirst for learning never stops.

''Hey friends! I'm Sindhura, known to some of you as Sindhu. I have a blog called 'trapped in craft' I have been crafting and blogging for over just 6 months and it's been a roller coaster ride already! I'm basically a card maker (haven'e got patience for scrapbooks! :)). For me, crafting is very therapeutic and find myself in a different world altogether when I make cards.

I love to use pearls, flowers and lace trims on my cards but I'm also a lover of CAS. My recent crush is on distress inks!

 Well... other than crafting, I have a 9 to 6 job, the reason for my disappearances from the craft world occasionally! :) I love reading books or just browse internet when I'm neither at work nor crafting.

 

I danced with joy when Shalini called and asked me if I'd join her! Of course I would... who wouldn't want to work with a fantastic, talented team? :)
It's amazing to see how Shalini works hard to get everything available on her store. I also like the way she keeps herself grounded in spite of success. She is gentle and helpful person. All these are qualities that I admire and I was too willing to work for someone like her. There is one more reason why I chose to join her. I'll be very honest. 'Crafters corner' is big name and there is lot of visibility. Every card or every post I make will be seen by hundreds of people. It's obvious that I'm definitely going to be under pressure and I tend to get the best out of myself in situations like that. I push myself and try to reach the next level. So, you see? I'm being selfish here! :) Last but not the least, I feel that I can have fun!

 

Thanks so much Shalini for this opportunity. It feels great to be writing an introduction like this (though I have no clue what to write! :p ) and to be on a GREAT team! Thanks a lot for having faith in me. I'll see to it that I'll never let you down! :)
I also want to thank everyone who supported and encouraged me, who always left me some love by commenting on every single post I made (including my parents and hubby). It's because of you people that I'm still crafting and I'm here! :)
