Hello Everyone.
This is Pallavi and today is my turn to post an inspiration project for you AND announce the 3rd winner of our blog candy. By the way, have you participated in our blog celebrations and don't forget there are still a few days left to join our Current Challenge.
Today, I am going to show a project that I attempted with Rock Candy Distress crackle paint and Graphic 45 papers. I say 'attempt', because honestly I did not know till the end whether I will be successful in making a half -decent project. I think it turned out okay. I was looking for a dark grungy look and I got that,so I am happy. I know that it's not everybody's favourite style of crafting, but sometimes I like to move away from the pretty pinks and explore my dark side. Evil laughter.:-)
Anyhow,I used the Rock Candy crackle paint for my background and tons of mists and inks to achieve the effect I wanted. I hope you can see the fabulous texture I got in the pictures.
Here is a list of supplies I used :
Clear Rock Candy Distress Crackle paint
Distress inks : Black Soot,
Ideology Ornate Plate
Little Lindy's Green : Mystic Malachite
Little Lindy's Red : Poinsettia red gold
Gossamer Gold Moonshadow mist
Windmill Charm
Mulberry Flower
Matte Multimedium
And now, onto the third winner of our blog Candy. Drum roll please.....The 3rd random winner of our awesome blog candy is.No. 20 and that is.....
That's it for now. I will see you next month. Take care and stay crafty.:-)

(I had a hard time taking a decent picture. The colour in the picture looks more purplish but its actually more of a red in reality)
Anyhow,I used the Rock Candy crackle paint for my background and tons of mists and inks to achieve the effect I wanted. I hope you can see the fabulous texture I got in the pictures.
I used the Graphic 45 French Country and a little bit of Typography paper for the label and borders.I used a lot of different moon-shadow mists and some starbursts for the background colour. I also used distress inks to define the crackle texture.
A close look at the gorgeous texture
