My dear Peggy!!!

Hello everybody!

How are you all??? Stupid question, eh? I know it's hard to manage things with a summer as worst as this. Anyone caught cold?? Another stupid question? :) Well... I did! :D Thanks to my running nose, I'm going to keep this post very short.

Wondering who my dear Peggy is?? Peggy is an adorable girl with a flower basket in her hand  looking lovingly at a birdie! Still didn't get me?? Well... if you had checked the latest collection of Whimsy stamps at Crafters Corner, you would know who Peggy is! :)

When I opened the goodie bag Shalini sent to me, I then and there wanted to make something with the lovely little stamp. All whimsy stamps are adorable. I love them all! You too would. Check them out HERE.

Enough talking now.. here is the card I made. Look at the PP... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Prima's Firefly paper pad. I suggest everyone to hoard this paper pad....really worth it! I've been using these papers a lot these days... Only a few are left.  :'(

Close up snaps of my darling Peggy! Yes, I'm crazy about her! :) Just have a look at her expression! Isn't that enough to love her? She looks so sweet and kind! And the honey bee is such a sweetheart! The sweetest honeybee ever is from THIS stamp set. Check out all the Lawn fawn collection.

Peggy has lots of stray strands of hair flying here and there in the image...Oh yes, they are not here...I cut them off while fussy cutting the image. With all those stray strands of hair, she reminds me of my ever messed up hair! :) Well.. the truth is, I am not good at fussy cutting and so couldn't cut those fine strands :) :)... She looks even more lovable with those! I also replaced the bird with honey bee. The bird has a confused look and I wanted a happy, happy card. So I cut it off from the scene! :)

Now...how many of you have actually noticed the flourish in my card?? I wanted everything else other than my image to be subtle, so distressed the flourish with tumbled glass...Isn't the flourish awesome??? it's called the 'fantastic flourish' from Spell binders. You can get it in Crafters Corner for a very reasonable price. Since the product of the month is 'dies', we all will be showcasing dies in our projects. There a huge collection of dies at Crafters Corner. Have you checked them yet?

Cold is making me feel all drowsy! I must say good bye for now!
Oh! Did you notice that I didn't use glitter on my card? Well, I totally forgot and added glitter (one of the requirements in the present challenge)after I took good pics. Evidence?? Here... Used stickles..

Fantastic flourish
Tumbled glass and shabby shutters distress inks
