Hello Crafters,
Welcome to a brand new challenge at Crafter’s Corner. Before I go any further,we at Crafter's Corner, would like to thank your for the awesome participation in last month's Bingo challenge setup by our very talented Hussena. We loved visiting your blogs and getting some inspiration for ourselves too.Thank you for that!
Now on to today's challenge.Everybody who is suffering from and cursing the scorching heat, raise your hand. If you did, then you will probably like this challenge.
This month’s challenge is “ Summer Sundae”.We we will be using nice, calm, pastel colours to soothe our eyes and I will also give you a recipe to make this Sundae! Confused?Read on

This is a Colour inspiration + Recipe Challenge. Here’s the photo for the colour inspiration.

You have to restrict your project to the colour palette shown in the picture. You can chose one or more or all colours.Black ,White,Skintones and metallic accents are allowed.
You also have to follow the ‘recipe’ given below.
1. One die cut/Punch:Can be more but there has to be atleast one.
2. Two different pattern papers : If you are making  a card, this does not include the base card.We need to see at least two different pattern papers on your projects. You can use more if you like.
3. Three embellishments : There have to be at least three different embellishments.Multiple usage of a single embellishment will count as one.E.g. if you use three flowers, they will all be counted as one embellishment.
4. A sprinkle of glitter

Mix all the ingredients and give it a whisk and your delicious Sundae is ready!Easy peasy, right?
P.S : Please make sure that you specify the items used on your project w.r.t to the challenge in your post.
On to the Prize package for this month, the lucky winner this month will win the following prize sponsored by Crafter's Corner.

  9. Wow, Pallavi! Top-notch challenge :) And awesome work on that embroidery hoop.

The DT inspirations are getting dreamier every challenge. Love them all.

I have a doubt though. You have mentioned that using two pattern papers is a must. I plan on making my own pattern papers. Is that allowed? I mean, is self-made backgrounds considered as a PP?

    1. Hello Vithya. Thanks for your lovely comment.Yes,its allowed.Any paper with patterns is a PP in my books.:-)Looking forward to see your project.

  10. I too have a question...is it that.we have to use pp in the conventional way..like layering only...is it allowed to use pp embellishments??

    1. Hi.Do you mean diecuts with PP?The requirement is to use pattern papers either as layers, panels, photo mats etc depending on what you are making. If you can explain what you mean PP embellishments,I can help more.:-)

    2. Thank.so much...I meant handmade flowers or punched or borders made of pattern paper...well I had made something sometime back...didnt post it as yet..hope it qualifies...:)

    3. Happy to help. You need to use two different papers for layering or panels photo mats ,background etc.the embeliishments can be made out of pattern paper but they will be counted as embellishments and not the second requirement of the challenge.I hope I am making sense!
