Love is in the air! :)

Hi Everyone,
This is Hussena here bringing you the inspiration for our this month's challenge which is "Expressions of Love" set by our very creative and talented Dt member Shalini Pahwa!...As this is a Valentine month & love seems to be on everybody's mind I am sharing a card made with embossing & hearts of course!..So here's a look at my work :-

As I was given Zing Embossing Powder & Versamarker embossing pen to work with I went ahead & used this to emboss the below stamped doily lace & the strip above which was stamped with Hero Arts stamp -Damask Pattern , emobssed & then colored with Distress Ink -Festive Berries ...The two heart cut -outs & the butterfly are embossed with the Ranger Super Fine clear embossing powder!..And colored using Distress Inks -Festive Berries ,Shabby Shutters ,Mustard Seed & Tumbled Glass..!!
For those of you who are new to embossing like Me you will be surprised by how easy it is to use embossing ink & powders to create beautiful projects!..They add such a nice shine & dimension to your projects & look really very beautiful..Here's a close -up of the butterfly & the doily lace which has been embossed :-

And I am showing you another view of the card where the embossing on the butterfly is very clearly visible as when the light hits the embossed part it gives such a nice glow :-

Can you see the way when the light hits the embossed part how it shines..??..It really looks beautiful in person...Even the two hearts have  been embossed using Ranger Super Fine Embossing Powder!..
