Decopage bucket!!!

Hi guys!
I was very confused with today's post. Initially I wanted to do something CAS but then started this not so CAS project....lol
I fell in love with the beautiful deco mache papers available in our store. Their use and versitaity is huge….
Decoupage papers are very thin and delicate to handle. But they can do wonders if used properly to bring life to any old furniture or metal stuff. Today I picked up an old tin bucket which was pretty but I planned to make it prettier.

So let's get started !!!!
Step 1: I will  suggest we should always prime the surface of the object which we want to decopage on.I chose gesso for my project and I applied two thick coats so as to conceal all the prints and dents on my bucket.

Step 2:After it was nice and dry I tore few pieces of the deco paper and sticked them with mod podge. That's it ...it's super duper easy ! this finishes the basics of decoupage.

The only this left was decoration and embellishment of the pretty bucket!
I wrapped a white lace and a brown twine around the bucket to add some oomph!!Then added my favorite mulberry  roses and leaves with a resin charm.

Here is a video which will clear all the doubts and encourage you to make yours too..

Thanks for watching ...

Heartfelt creations mini album

Hi guys!!!
I am totally spellbound by the beautiful heartfelt collection stuff. The papers are to die for :) I got few of them from our store and I will encourage you to get yours soon.
The flowers ,butterflies and the birds are extreemly pretty. The best part is that they have their corresponding dies which makes assembling them so easy.

I decided to make a mini using one of the 12X12 paper pads and flowers from the"Butterflies medley" collection.

The album had a total of 6 pages which further expand to hold more journaling spots and photos.

I used chip board to construct  the spine and cover which makes the mini safe and sturdy.

I used the gorgeous botanical rose stamp and butterfly medley dies to cut out my flowers and leaves. I coloured the flowers with few memento inks and tried to give them dimension by using a 8mm ball stylus.I adhered  them up with some foam tape to the cover page.

The American crafts die cut was coloured with some walnut stain and vintage photo  distress inks and then I added some clear embossing to give it a pretty shine .

Here is the front picture of my butterfly medley mini album.

Hope u like it and give it a try.
