Hello dear friends!
Waiting for the results, huh? No time for small talk? :) OK... I wont make you wait any longer. :)
Thanks to all you wonderful people who took time to participate in the challenge! Each and every entry was wonderful and we had a hard time deciding the winners as always! :) Keep participating in the future challenges as well. We love to visit your blogs! :)
Now for the honorable mentions- You people have made our job really tough and we thought it would be very unfair if we didn't mention your work here.
Meetu- Look at the beauty she has created! Perfect color coordination, those hand made blooms are gorgeous, adorable PP and perfect use of border die. Your mother must have really LOVED your card Meetu! :)
I think I want to buy this Spellbinders die, now that I know what can be done with it! :) We have it in our store! Check it here.
Catherine- Now what can I say about this card! This is a beauty, so simple yet beautiful! That polka dotted strip is a darling, not to mention that quilled flower! :)We all loved your card Catherine, I'm sure your Brother-in-law must have loved it too!
Shital Akole- Shital, your card is so pretty with all the beautiful details! That flower is yummy so as the pearl head pins. Beautiful design indeed. There is another card in her post that none of you would not want to miss. It's as pretty as the one that's here! :)
Deepti- WOW!! Awesome card! LOVE that handmade PP! If you want to know how she made this cheerful, bright PP, you will have to visit her ! :)
Congratulations girls! You all have done a fabulous job! :)
Now for the top three- (in no particular order)
Bipasha- She always has some surprise in store for all of us! Look at this lovely design, and the way she incorporated 'thank you' in so many languages on her card! We are in awe, Bipasha! Have a look at her hand writing, isn't it beautiful? :)
Shweta- She made this beautiful shabby chic card that's irresistible Awesome design! Those torn edges look beautiful, so does the placement of doily and flowers. That corrugated sheet enhances the shabby chic look even more! Lovely creation Shweta! :)
Daksha- This is the third time her name has come up in top three! A big applause for her please! :) The shadow box card she made is beyond adorable! Perfectly color coordinated and lovely placement of all the elements booked her slot here! :)
Daksha, your exceptional work has earned you a beautiful pack of mulberry flowers! For all of you out there, you too have this chance to win something for yourself if you make it to top-3 three times with your work!
Please claim your badges soon! Write to info@crafterscorner.in with 'Top-3' in the subject.
Ta-da here's presenting you the winner of the 'Thank you very much' challenge! Any guesses anyone? Clue? Name starts with 'P'... Sorry Pallavi, not you! :-p Oh no! Not even you Priya! :-D
Another surprise in store for all of you today, we don't have a winner! Oh wait, wait! Don't stare at me like that! :-p I meant to say we had WINNERS!! Yay! Two of them, and their names are same, now it's easy to guess! :)
The two people, who made our chins purple are Pooja and Pooja!! :) We just couldn't decide between these two girls!
Pooja from Reuising with quilling made this BEAUTIFUL shabby chic card! We have no words for her talent. Who says we can't make anything beautiful without all the fancy tools? Her card is a perfect example of what one can create if you have the heart to do so. Pooja, we LOVED what you made to bits! Keep up the great work girl!
Pooja from Lightbox creative ideas made us squeal with delight with a sweet Magnolia card! The effort put into making this card shows and all the elements are beautifully placed! Look at those blooms...drool worthy! :) Those rose buds on her card are handmade. Gorgeous work.
Winners, please write to info@crafterscorner.in with 'winner' in the subject to claim your prize and badges.
Now for the random winner... we use random.org to select the random winner,
So the winner is Indrani. Pls write to us at info@crafterscorner.in with ' random winner' in the subject to claim your gift voucher.
Congratulations to all the winners! Thanks again for participating! We look forward to seeing you in our future challenges as well.
Now for the next round of Bingo, I'm hoping that someone would scream 'Bingo' as soon as I finish announcing the next four words!! Even we are not able to wait any further you see! :-p
1. Olfa craft knife- (Olfa AK 3 craft knife)- a craft knife is a basic tool when it comes to paper crafting. It's even more important for those who are keen about fussy cutting the insides of an image. Let me show you an example...
See the stamped bicycle? I fussy cut the insides too to get a proper bicycle feel. Now, you can't do that with a scissors, you will need a craft knife and believe me, it's really worth investing in a good craft knife.
The craft knife I mentioned here is available in our store and it comes with 30 spare blades!!
2. Crafter's companion- there is a small video available on what you can exactly do with this... Check this out..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TD9wlkBNk9I&feature=player_embedded
3. Stickers- if you want to make super quick cards or add dimension to your scrap book pages, it's good to have a small stock of stickers. I never used them much, thought they are only for scrap books. I have made something using Jolee's boutique dimensional stickers. This particular sticker is from THIS pack.
4. Self healing mat- this is a 'MUST HAVE' if you are into crafting of any type. It protects the surface on which you intend to cut your cards or images with a blade and sees to it that your mum (or hubby) doesn't get upset! :-p
There are many sizes of healing mats available at Crafters Corner.
Now who is going to send a mail to us first? :)
Have fun friends!
